Inaugural Concert - October 2006

This first program features a diverse collection of our favorite music from the medieval and Renaissance periods. We believe that of all the music in the choral canon, this is some of the most rewarding, both to sing and to hear. The rise and fall of measured harmonies evokes a simplicity and serenity which is increasingly difficult to find in modern life. This music, which serves as the foundation of all Western choral music that has followed, is the perfect starting place from which to begin the history of Clerestory.
